Without sponsorship, motorsports of any kind -- whether it's radio controlled or turbine-powered -- is incredibly difficult to do.

As such, Electric Radio Controlled Unlimiteds (ERCU) invites your company to partner with our club as a sponsor for our upcoming 2025 ERCU Championship Series. We believe that this event offers a unique opportunity for your company to engage with hydroplane geeks and fans across Western Washington and showcase its commitment to supporting the sport of unlimited hydroplane racing at all levels.

Our 12 events span the I-5 corridor from Marysville to Longview, with stops in Tacoma, Lacey, Elma and Toledo in between. For the second year, we also venture east of the mountains for one race, at the beautiful Irene Reinhardt Riverfront Park in Ellensburg. At that race site, glimpses of our racing can be seen by vehicles passing by on Interstate 90, and it's always exciting when passersby notice us and honk their horns in recognition. The season runs from late March through September in public parks, typically on Saturdays.

By partnering with ERCU, your company will gain significant exposure to ERCU members, friends, families, and the fans and passersby at each event providing incremental opportunities to interact with current and potential customers. All at their lifestyle level out doing what they enjoy. Support of ERCU also raises brand visibility and demonstrates corporate social responsibility.

Available 2025 Sponsorships

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITIES

Championship Series Presenting Sponsor - $2,500

• Company’s name included in the title of the ERCU Championship Series (i.e. [company name] Championship Series)
• Company’s name and logo included on ERCU signage at all race events
• Space for a sponsor-provided banner (up to six feet long) to be hung at all race events
• Decal on club equipment trailer that includes sponsor logo and recognition as Championship Series Presenting sponsor
• Home page presence with logo and clickthrough to sponsor company’s website on club’s website (www.ercu-hydros.com)
  
• A minimum of 24 sponsor mentions throughout the year on ERCU social media (Facebook & Instagram)
• Sponsor recognition and logo inclusion on all electronic communications to membership (monthly email distributions during the offseason; minimum of two per month during the racing season).
• Sponsor may choose to receive electronic email newsletter blasts for an unlimited number of their employees who might be interested.
• Sponsor may set up a tabling opportunity at all 2025 ERCU events should they choose to do so
• Sponsor may, at its discretion, provide coupons, cut sheets or marketing materials at ERCU events
• Invitation for two to attend the ERCU End of Season Celebration as a guest of ERCU
• Exclusivity – just one Championship Series Presenting Sponsor will be sold by ERCU in any season; Category exclusivity will also be honored. ERCU will seek/accept no other sponsors from the same category
• News release announcing sponsorship to media, article published on news page of ERCU website, and in email newsletters to members, also will be shared on ERCU’s Facebook page.
• Right of first refusal for 2026 ERCU Championship Series

Driver of the Year Award Sponsor - $1,500

• Company will be the presenting sponsor of the ERCU Driver of the Year Award (i.e. [company name] ERCU Driver of the Year)
  
• Company will be promoted as the official glass sponsor of ERCU and the presenting sponsor of the ERCU Driver of the Year Award
• Home page presence with logo and clickthrough to sponsor company’s website on club’s website (www.ercu-hydros.com)
  
• News release announcing sponsorship to media, article published on news page of ERCU website, and in email newsletters to members, also will be shared on ERCU’s Facebook page.
• Sponsor recognition and logo inclusion on all electronic communications to membership (monthly email distributions during the offseason; minimum of two per month during the racing season).

• Company name and logo will be highlighted on the ERCU Driver of the Year trophy – a striking propeller from one of the actual unlimited hydroplanes
• Company representative (one) may make the presentation at the 2025 ERCU End of Season Celebration as a guest of ERCU
• Category exclusivity will be honored. ERCU will seek/accept no other sponsors from the same category
• Right of first refusal for 2026 ERCU season

UNLIMITED OPPORTUNITIES

Associate Sponsor - $1,000

• Company’s name and logo included on ERCU signage at all race events
• Home page presence with logo and clickthrough to sponsor company’s website on club’s website (www.ercu-hydros.com)
• A minimum of 12 sponsor mentions throughout the year on ERCU social media (Facebook & Instagram)
• Sponsor recognition and logo inclusion on all electronic communications to membership (monthly email distributions during the offseason; minimum of two per month during the racing season).
• Sponsor may choose to receive electronic email newsletter blasts for an unlimited number of their employees who might be interested.

Category Partner - $500

• Company’s name and logo included on ERCU signage at all race events
• Category exclusivity will be honored. ERCU will seek/accept no other sponsors from the same category (for example: DCR Coffee is the official coffee partner of ERCU)
• Home page presence with logo and clickthrough to sponsor company’s website on club’s website (www.ercu-hydros.com)
  
• Sponsor logo inclusion on all electronic communications to membership (monthly email distributions during the offseason; minimum of two per month during the racing season).

Friends of ERCU - $100 or less

• Designed for organizations, businesses, members and non-members who don't necessarily want to be a sponsor, but see value in just being a financial supporter of the club.
• Recognition on the club’s website (www.ercu-hydros.com).
