Notes about the Model: The Gale V was designed by Les Ruggles in 1980s as a 1/8 gas model.In 2013, Brian Buaas helped me make the plug and mold for the Gale size 1/10 boat.

Notes about the Real Boat: The real GALE was one of many GALE boats. The GALE ran out of Detroit and in the early days of RCU Battle Ground was also a long ways from Seattle.

Notes about 2020: The Gale ran in the last three races of the year.
