Notes about the Model: This boat was one of the first made by the tremendous model builder, Craig Bradshaw. Over time, this hull has been passed through many hands, but despite its age it still performs and looks great. Jim Latimer last campaigned the boat, until Geoffry Grembowski acquired it in a trade during the summer of 2015.
Notes about the Real Boat: This boat was the second to carry the $ Bill moniker when it debuted in 1962. Carrying the U-21, this boat had a who's who of famous drivers come through its cockpit. Rex Manchester, Norm Evans, Rex Bigby, Billy Schumacher, Chuck Hickling, and Warner Gardner all had seat time in the $ Bill from 1962 through 1967. The $ Bill's best season finish was in 1966, when it finished fifth in season high points. In 1967, the boat was converted to the Miss Eagle Electric, which it ran as until it was destroyed in a crash in Detroit in 1968.
Notes about 2020: Geoffry participated in the ERCU Gold Cup and the Roger Newton Memorial during the shortened 2020 season.
