1970 Parco's O-Ring Miss
Owner: Gerald Bordon (Renton, Wash.)
Driver: Gerald Bordon
Model Builder: Craig Bradshaw
Construction: Carbon Fiber Composite
Year Built: 2017
Motor: Himax 3630-1500
Radio: Specktrum
Electronic Speed Controller: HobbyWing
Propeller: X447
Paint Colors: Red, White and Blue
Graphics: Vinyl /Mike Gossler
Notes about the Model: Nice running boat with good handling characteristics. Can be fast in good water.
Notes about the Real Boat: Laird Pierce's Last attempt to have an effective contender ran short with this new hull. Rough Riding Characteristics would leave drivers legs numb after testing or a heat of racing. Most of the problems were fixed fixed by the time the boat became the Timex, by replacing a faulty fuel tank.
Notes about 2018: The 1970 Parco won the first heat it race in, and was the 2017 Gold Cup Winner. She finished 7th in the 2017 High Point Standings.
