Notes about the Model: This is another beautiful new boat for Ron in 2014. It was built from the molds of Craig Bradshaw of West Coast Custom Boats and Craig did an excellent job with the paint and finishing too. Winning best of scale/concours in two clubs in 2014. Ron likes the way the boat handles. It glides while trolling and runs straight at any speed, a testament to WCCB design. With only half a racing season under its belt, the boat has steadily gotten better and looks to be a contender for the foreseeable future. The pride of Team Madison fleet.
Notes about the Real Boat: This boat came on to the scene in 2007 with driver Steve David as Oberto's newest and fastest raceboat. The boat achieved national championships in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012. After Steve David's retirement, 2013 champion driver Jimmy Shane took over behind the wheel of the boat for 2014 with the same great boat with a new Oberto paint scheme to take the 2014 H1 High Points and Gold Cup.
Notes about 2015: No Information Submitted.
