This year at the Roger Newton Memorial RC Boat Show, we'll try something a little different. Instead of having a full-blown board/club meeting, we'll forgo the formal agenda-driven meeting and instead gather together aside for a Q&A session during the event.
If you have questions about the changes we made to the rulebook, about the new skid fin rule, about setting up your own boats to go faster and improve performance, or whatever, we're happy to spend some time to visit. We'll also be able to conduct inspections of boats that might be complete and ready for their inspection. And, as a reminder, boats that were inspected last year but did not have any significant repair or restructuring over the winter do not need to be re-inspected this year. The Show is set for Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum in Kent. Set up begins at 10 a.m. Bring your own tables and chairs, and please be prepared to pay $5 admission. ERCU is planning to display its boats together on a string of tables upon arrival, so please plan to display your boats along with us. Boats under construction don't need to be completed to be on display at the show. In fact, often times, boats under construction spur great conversations. Comments are closed.
