 ERCU Race Coordinator David Heilbrunn has confirmed that the 2025 schedule has been finalized, without any changes from the tentative schedule posted in early January.
For the second straight year, ERCU will conduct a 12 race season, with the best 10 counting for ERCU Championship Series points. The 2025 series includes a new race site at South County Park (Wallace Pond) in Toledo, Wash. The Seafair Trophy Race will be run at that site, as will a preseason Test, Tune and Inspect event. The schedule marks a return to Marysville, for two races -- the Jack Regas Memorial and the Bernie Little Memorial -- after insurance concerns were worked through. Vance Creek Park in Elma will also host a pair of races -- the season opening Champion Spark Plug Regatta and the season closing Atomic Cup. We'll race on the Bill Mowatt Memorial Race Course in Lacey three times this season -- the Roger Newton Memorial, the ERCU Gold Cup and the Detroit Memorial Regatta. Single stop race sites include Scott Lake (Olympia) for the Diamond Cup, Irene Reinhardt Riverfront Park (Ellensburg) for the President's Cup, Waughop Lake for the Governor's Cup, and Longview for the Stan Sayres Memorial.
